Barra Season Open In The Gulf.  The Barra season is now open in the gulf and early signs are that it is going to be a great year. Local fishermen say that the late fresh this year means it is going to be a great year for fishing. Early results are very good with excellent catches being reported by our guests at Karumba Point sunset Caravan Park. Colin Davis has already put his line in the water and made some fine catches, ( that is Colin in the pic and one of several beauties he recently caught at Karumba ), so pack up that caravan, tent or camp trailer or book into one of our villas or cabins and come on up.
