Sunset Caravan Park
Edition 10
By Arch Armstrong

Hello friends and welcome to the June newsletter our 10th edition of the Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park newsletter.
What an exciting time it has been over May, and June is proving to be a boomer. Many of our friends have returned from last year and new ones have arrived to spend their first time with us in Karumba taking in the mood, the scenery, the fishing, the relaxing, fun and fabulous weather. Just have a look at the Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park website, www.sunsetcp.com.au and have a look at the smiling faces and you will understand what it is like to be in Karumba where the outback meets the sea. Just have a look at George Liddicoat's great Barramundi catch,Click John Wisby's superb Barramundi, Click and Andrew Doaks huge Spanish Mackerel Click to name just a few of the many great catches we get at Karumba.
From time to time I get asked what are the roads like to Karumba. Friends I can tell you there is absolutely no problem with driving, riding, boating or flying to Karumba. In fact guests come up on Motor Bikes, Push Bikes, small cars, big cars, buses and 4 wheel drives and some come by boat. They pull boats, trailers, caravans and campers. Apart from Bourke and Wills I don't think anyone has tried to walk it. Maybe someone should take up the challenge. The roads are very good and continually improving so what ever you drive you will not have a problem.
Now as you know, every now and then I tell about a website well worth having a look at and people who give great value and service. And I can tell you I am very fussy who I recommend so they have got to be the very best.
This month it is a company called Forex Commercial Ltd and their website is: http://www.foreignexchange.co.nz/
I have dealt with these people for many years and I can tell you they are honest, reliable and they will do the best deal they can for you. I have yet to see anyone better them on exchange rates.
We do not accept payment or consideration for any information on products or services that may be mentioned in this newsletter. Just a reminder. September and October are just around the corner and either month is a great time to be in Karumba. The fish are still biting, the weather is great and you get to see some fabulous sunsets. October especially is a great month. Temperature around 27 degrees just about every day. The Northern lights start coming in and the Barras are still running. Plenty of other species to catch also. So get your bookings in now to avoid disappointment. Come up and stay at the most famous caravan park in Australia, in the outback, where the outback meets the sea. The only place with access right on the beach between Cairns and Darwin. From the park the beach is just the other side of the road. Ring, fax or email us as follows or check out our website.
