Karumba
Point Sunset Caravan Park
Newsletter February 2008
Well Christmas has
come and gone, and we are back to doing what we do best. Fishing!!!!!!!
The Barra season
opened with some good catches, regular visitors Eric Hardwick and John Baird,
landing some really nice fish.
Paul Moffat ( Good
friend of Eric and Wendy Hardwick ) a newcomer to barra fishing was beside
himself when he landed his first ever Barra. It measured just under a meter, and
Paul claims that was across the eyes!!!

As always
accommodation for the coming months is filling fast, so why wait pull the tinny
out from under the tarp change the spark plug in the outboard, hook it up to the
4x4 and hit the road, remembering all roads lead to Karumba.
And it’s bitumen
all the way.
We as usual have
been working hard over the summer months to ensure your stay with us will be a
fantastic one that you won’t be able to wait to tell all your friends who have
not yet been fortunate enough to sample the Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park
Experience.
With the Management
Team of Rick and Michelle,

and Russell and Carol,
we
will be waiting to assist you in any way, to make sure that your stay will be
one worth Boasting about.
The Annual Karumba
Fishing Competition will be held this year on the 4th, 5th,
And

6th. Of
April and they will be offering some Great prizes that include a Tinny donated
by XXXX Breweries.
Whatever it is that
helps you relax, we have it here at Karumba Point, what better way to relax
after a fantastic day of fishing, than to down a coldee at the Sunset Tavern
watching a Sunset like no other!!
In closing we will
leave with the word for today “ sinceuus”
“ Sinceuus
up……..get me a beer”
