Big  John has been catching them like this and bigger for years. He is in the park now so why not come on up for Easter, stay in the park and have a chat to John. Maybe he will give you a few hints on how to catch the big ones and you can give it a shot in the Normanton Easter Fishing Competition. We still have have room fro the Easter period, there is some great prizes and you can go in the big raffle.

Gwenda has been at it again. She has now bagged 3 more big Barra and her husband Keith decided to get in on the act with a big one himself. These four Barra all up around 1 metre. They are big fish. Here is what Gwenda had to say this time. Arch,  Here we go again, I caught 3 Barra yesterday all around 1metre. Beware Barra, Gwenda Strikes again!!   This is what Gwenda has to say about fishing at Karumba Point Karumba. It was a real thrill. It was just over 1 metre and 9.5 kilos. It took about 10 minutes to pull it in. My husband and I have been Barra fishing here since 2005, and have caught quite a few. In 2009 we caught 11, two over 1 metre. Two days after this one I caught a 75 cm and my husband caught a 95cm, 10.5 KG  Gwenda stays at Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park when she comes to Karumba has been doing so since 2005. look forward to your next catch Gwenda.
