Take A Look At This. Well done Peta!! No doubt about it, women can catch the big ones at Karumba. Peta is staying in Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park just 100 yards to the beach, and on the 30 Th September 2012 Peta landed this 106cm Black Jew right off the beach. All she had to do from here was walk across the road to Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park, clean and fillet it at the park’s ultra modern fish cleaning facility, (probably the best park fish cleaning facility in Australia) and then whack it into the pan.You know I was just thinking. Catch just one fish like Peta’s and you can eat free for a week and at retail prices the value of her fish would more than pay for a one week stay at Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park. Anyway Peta, keep up the good work. Excellent catch!!!Read more ›
February/March 2013 A great time in Karumba and the Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park . Great time to be here. Barra season starts. A lot of big fish and just a relaxing time to be at the park. Probably the best fishing time of the year. And the bird life is prolific. Fantastic sunsets. Amazing weather patterns and a great time to be in the park. Try out the new walking track. Play a round of golf. Go Crabbing, Charter fishing, Sunset watching, Sundown cruising or fill your belly with tasty prawns and wash it down with a cold beer at the pub which is just up the road from the park. The beach and the boat ramp are only about 100 metres from the park and you can catch big fish right off the beach. Accommodation and park facilities are spotless and we probably have the best fish cleaning park facility in Australia.Read more ›
Big Black Jew caught in Karumba!! Margaret Howitt on the 27 Th of June caught this big black Jew in Karumba and you have to hand it to her. Just to pick up this 1.16cm biggie would take some doing but Margaret is holding it up on her own so you can imagine the time and effort it must have taken her to land this big boy. At least I think it’s a boy!! Anyway Margaret, well done and keep them coming. You know Margaret demonstrates what a fabulous fishing spot Karumba is and what a great place to fish, enjoy the outback by the sea, eat great food, see a thousand stars at night and just enjoy life without the hassle. And if you want to stay at one of the best caravan parks in Australia then book now at the Karumba Point sunset Caravan Park. Where we make it our business to make your stay a safe, happy and comfortable experience. Please book early as we are a popular park. Look forward to seeing you here real soon.Read more ›
