You’re at the tip of the all weather, sealed Matilda Highway. We are situated at 53 Palmer Street Karumba Point Karumba Queensland 4891 which is just 6km down the road from the main highway. Karumba Point has the only stretch of beach with a boat ramp in the central Savannah Coast that can be accessed by road.

After driving through the dry surrounding country arriving at the Sunset Caravan Park is like coming to an oasis, beautiful blue waters, magnificent sunsets and a modern atmosphere make our Park a fantastic holiday destination.

When you do decide to visit the us in the Gulf Country you must be aware that this is still frontier country. Unlike the coast and its regional centers, there are no service stations out here 10 kilometers apart.
