Tourist Attraction: The Karumba Recreation Club Is Providing Sport And Recreation Facilities For Members And Visitors
Karumba Recreation Club
The Karumba Recreation Club is a not for profit community Club providing sport and recreation facilities for members and visitors.
Key activities weekly include the Clubs Bowling Green and 9 hole Golf Course, the Club house for Darts and Pool as well as various sporting events and community activities throughout the year.
The Club now has a facebook page to keep up to date with news, meeting times and dates and to share stories, photos and events.
New memberships for 2016 are available now at the Club or click on the link and print out the form. $30 standard annual membership and those directly involved in the local commercial fishing industry are no charge for 2016 (in response to the recent years of drought across the area affecting this industry significantly).

Anyone attending the Club for any reason – and living within a 15km radius of the Club is required to be a current member. Visitors living outside the 15km radius can attend the Club and sign the Visitors book. Anyone attending on more than 3 occasions in a 12 month period is required to become a member.
The Club holds a Club Liquor Licence and there are various social activities and events held throughout the year. If you are interested in using the Club for a celebration or function just contact one of the Executive who will be very happy to help you out.
What’s happening at the Club:-
Bowls – all welcome
Sunday afternoon – social bowls from 4pm
There is an honesty box at the bowling green for anyone wishing to have a game – a half hour roll up is free otherwise it is $8 for visitors and $5 for members
Golf – all welcome
There is an honesty box on the course for anyone who would like to play at other times – $10 per game for visitors and $8 per game for members. Plus Golf Clubs and Bags are available to hire – you will need to contact either a Golf Club member or one of the Rec Club Executive to arrange these prior to your Golf game.

Clothes, toys, books etc – you can donate your second hand items or shop for something you need.
Open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – 9am-12noon
